Sarano Kelley was born in a gang-infested neighborhood in Brooklyn, NY.

He entered Vassar College at just 16 years old and became a successful stockbroker at Lehman Brothers on Wall Street by the age of 23.

Sarano gained national recognition when he appeared on Good Morning America to promote his landmark book, The Game and spent two years providing media skills coaching to the White House.

As a Forbes Council Coach, Sarano is the number-one-rated speaker in the financial services industry, according to the Securities Industry Association at the Wharton School of Business.
Over the past three decades, he has spoken in front of 250,000 financial advisers.

In addition, Sarano was appointed as an ambassador to billionaires on behalf of the UN Foundation in its fight against global poverty. As a spokesperson for financial literacy, he was invited to ring the bell at the NYSE to commemorate Financial Literacy Month.

Currently, his nonprofit charity, Standup4Initiatives, has launched three landmark campaigns:

StandUp4Diversity: Advocating for equal representation of all minority groups in leadership roles within the financial services industry.

StandUp4FinancialLiteracy: Committed to integrating financial education into every child’s curriculum.



StandUp4Entrepreneurship: Designed to empower the nation’s youth through economic self-empowerment.


These campaigns will be launched in New York City from April 4-6, 2025. Early supporters include:

Together with his wife and business partner, Brooke, Sarano has had several television shows produced about their philanthropic work, including a PBS documentary that aired on Fox, CNN, and CNBC.
